Artichoke vase in handmade ceramic - designed on Öland by Eva Paradis
The Artichoke is a sculptural vase in glazed ceramic with a carved leaf decoration inspired by the magnificent thistle bud. Each vase is decorated/glazed by hand in Paradisverkstaden's workshop and studio on Öland. The surface is satin-matte and the colors are close to nature - all to harmonize with the home all year round.
It fits equally well with flowers and twigs as it does standing alone as a decorative object. Size Large is particularly suitable as table vase, decorative with larger flowers and is a popular gift - easy to place and appreciated in all styles of home.

The foliage on the surface of the vase is inspired by the recurring rhythms and symbolism of the plant kingdom - where the artichoke has become a recurring form for Eva to explore and refine.
The artichoke is part of the Relief collection - a series of handmade vases with soft, organic shapes in satin-matte glazes. All models can be combined tone-on-tone and form a unified whole.
