The workshop
is a place that is built for creation and change.
Everything in Paradisverkstaden's workshop is turned by hand.
The mini eggs that are spun now will later be decorated during our inspiration evening together with Sara Andersson from Ottenby Fåglestation
The mud cannot be accelerated
After a first night's drying in the workshop, it's time for dispatch. It is usually said that the clay should be leather dry. Here we smooth the shape and, above all, shape the bottom of the goods. Then the clay must dry completely.
All the water has to come out of the property and it takes about 3-4 days. Then it's time for the first firing, which is called skrøjburning up to 900 degrees
Decorate with eggs
We decorate eggs in several sizes with nature as inspiration. On several occasions each year, we also burn Raku where the eggs are a large part of the range.
